OUR CURRENT SERMON SERIES:
January 12th we started our new, 15 week sermon series on the Gospel of Mark that will end on Easter Sunday. Below are some of the reasons we believe this series will be important for us to study as a community of believers:

-
The Gospel of Mark serves as a reminder to our community of our identity as disciples of a God who came “not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45) and as a people who have been called to, “deny [themselves] and take up [their] cross and follow [Him] (Mark 8:34). The hope is that we will help our church community to seriously reflect on how God is specifically asking each individual to respond to His example of sacrifice and serving in a way that the Great Commission is carried out to an even greater degree.

OUR PREVIOUS SERMON SERIES:
The sermon series, Embracing God's Wisdom, started in June 23rd and ended November 24th. We relied on the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job to give us a 3 point perspective on:

1. What God's wisdom is.

2. How God's wisdom is different from human "wisdom".

3. How we can learn to trust and apply God's wisdom to our lives.
